Through its ups and downs and around many curves this blog will reflect my journey as a scholar, from a freshman in undergrad to where ever my road takes me.

Senior Capstone, TTU, Spring 2015: Desaparición y asimilación; Preservación y perpetuación
The most challenging part of this project? Knowing that as of yet, I cannot think in Spanish at as advanced of a level as this project really called for. Spanish sources, Spanish notes, Spanish everything. I never allowed myself to even brainstorm in English and although it was a wonderful exercise, it was frustrating.
It leaves me with a desire, however, to pursue this research and to continue improving my Spanish so as to continue this research in Spanish.
"Desaparición y asimilación; Preservación y perpetuación: Los factores sociales y lingüísticos que determinaron la vida, la muerte y casi pérdida de las lenguas de los inmigrantes judíos a Argentina después del año 1889" is just the beginning for me.
